Great points. It almost makes it look like ownership was so pissed about their underperformance that they"re willing to punt the rest of the season and make next year their year.

Probably the right move all things considered, but if only they"d had the foresight to do it in the offseason and have an entire training camp with some non-retarded coach, they"d be top 4 in the east easily this year.

It"ll be interesting to see if they go on a run now under the interim coach, but really it seemed like their problem was execution and "x"s and o"s" more than it was motivation, and that"s something that"s hard to install on the fly.

Also reeealllly interesting to see Haynes" report that Giannis was devastated.

Those are valid points. Here"s what I think:

1) Who knows. For what it"s worth, Prunty has taken over before (back when Kidd had hip surgery) and the Bucks looked better for it. Hell, he moved MCW to the bench so he"s already ahead of Kidd there.

2.) The Bucks have been getting by on talent alone all season. The only thing they need to adjust to is running actual plays instead of "Get the ball to Giannis and watch him do something awesome".

From what I"ve seen since Giannis got drafted. Kidd definitely played a role in his development but we don"t know how big. It"s widely known Giannis has an insane work ethic so alot can also be attributed to him. Personally, I wish Kidd would have tried to develop his jumper more but Yeet

Definitely. I think Kidd was a great coach in our transition period, and I do think he played a role in Giannis development. That being said, like mark jackson, Kidd isn’t capable of taking us to the next level.
