有位一直关注美思学英语的粉丝投稿讲述了她在澳洲帮女儿照顾外孙时跟邻居说英语碰到的一件特尴尬的事，让她感受到中西方文化是多么的不同。

Thanks Meisi so much for giving me a chance to talk my story about how to study English.

Last year, I was in Adelaide of Australia and took care of my grandchild. my daughter had a couple of friends. They were both professors in the college before and were really very kind. They were earnest to help me to learn English. They invited us to go their home on Tuesday every week and let me practice my listening skill . I made some Chinese food and brought to them every time. So they were happy and enjoyed these foods . we were eating and chatting and had a grand time at their home. But I didn"t understand what they said at first. So they said some simple words to me. After several months, we became familiar with each other. I also felt free in front of them.

One day, we went to their home again, I saw her husband who was a little fat lately. I said to him that he seemed little plump. Then he was very angry with me. He always likes someone who said he looked very

cool. Maybe what I said was Chinglish because some people like joking with each other like this in China. I didn"t know what I should do. Later my daughter told me that in the west and east there were many different culture. Foreigners don"t like comments from other people. I apologized to him then he was smiling .

An accidental opportunity I found out an English learning platform by Meisi which made me learn many good learning methods and many content of fun. So I started to learning English with Meisi. The first thing I do when I wake up is to turn on my phone and watch a video from Meisi every morning.In my life in the future I will keep learning English with Meisi . Thank you so much!

感谢美思给了我这个机会来说说我学习英语的小故事。去年，我在澳大利亚的阿德莱德城市女儿家照顾我的外孙。我女儿有一对夫妇朋友，他们以前都是大学的教授，而且为人和蔼可亲。他们热心的帮助我学习英语，所以让我们每周二去他们家练习听力。在每次去的时候，我带上我做的中国食品让他们吃。他们非常开心，我们经常会边吃边聊。时间久了我们慢慢就彼此熟悉了，我在他们面前也非常放松了。一天，我们又去他们家，我看到她的丈夫近来有些发胖，我就开玩笑的说：看着你有些发福了。平时他总喜欢别人说他酷，说完他就生气了。当时我也不知道该怎么办？可能我的思想还很中国化因为中国人经常这样互相开玩笑。后来我女儿告诉我有关中西方存在着不同的文化，老外一般不喜欢别人对自己评头论足。我给他道了歉，然后他就笑了。一个偶然的机会我发现了美思这个学习英语的平台，它给我带来了很多学习方法和很多有趣的内容。从那时候我就跟着美思开始学习英语，每天早上当我醒来的第一件事就是打开手机看美思的节目。在我以后的生活中，我会一直跟随美思学习英语。谢谢??
