In the NFL it would be $50 million a year.

There"s plenty of reasons to stay in the NBA, but I"d hardly call that difference in money a "silly move".

On the other hand he"s easier to replace than an NBA player. There"s a lot of people who theoretically could do Silver"s job but there"s (in comparison) very few people who can play basketball at an NBA level.

Are we sure? I mean if you"re gonna add the "NBA level" qualifier to the player we gotta add "billion dollar org level" to the commissioner status. Which is apparently a lot harder than you"d expect based on the performance of Goodell, Selig, Bettman, Tagliubu, and well basically everyone outside of Stern and Silver.

the ones that arent a boring different colored square are fine by me. they could"ve been real bad. the goodyear logo on the the cavs jersey looks fine. disney logo on the magic jersey looks fine.

It"s crazy that both jobs are similar but people can"t stand Goodell and love Silver. Though most of it is because the NBA is much more progressive and focused on the merits of good entertainment.

Worth noting, Goodell was seeking $50,000,000 annually, medical benefits for his entire family, and a private jet for life, based on the article there’s a sense that he could have gotten that if certain issues were handled better by the NFL.

Yes the NBA is rising insanely quickly, but worth considering exactly how much Silver turned down to not put up with the NFLs issues.

The NFL"s biggest issue being that all the owners are old money, full of themselves seniors who refuse to work with each other/the players for the benefit of the league"s future. No commissioner can fix that.
