SB nation says that the surgery MPJ got was a microdiscectomy (which I"ve had myself), which is way less intensive of a surgery than Tiger"s lumbar spinal fusion. I would be cautiously optimistic if I were a nuggets fan

I was here to correct this as well. I"ve had both. Microdiscectomy is a joke -- should be a full recovery after a month or two. If he has a bad disk though and needs a fusion like Tiger (especially at L3-L4), he might never play. Fusions are fucking brutal.
