Assistant Vice President – Compliance, Global Markets

The Job:

Provide professional compliance services to Global Market team on Equities and Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities (FICC) business.

Responsible for handling trade restrictions and other pre-trade monitoring

Formulate compliance program for post-trade surveillance

Handle KYC enquiries, AML system alert inspection and STR

Handle SFC and other regulatory enquiries

Supervise junior staff on regular compliance tasks

Requirements:

We support local hire with solid relevant working experience in HK.

Degree holder of Law, Finance or other related disciplines

5 years+ compliance experience from SFC, HKEx, or leading i-banks. At least 2 years" of experience in a previous compliance surveillance or monitoring role

Understanding of HKEx trading rules and trading systems.

Knowledge of equities and/or FICC business is a big plus

Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, fluency in Putonghua
