instrument的u是咋演变成闭音节u的
看到这个题我吓一跳,还以为我念错了,我一直念的Schwa。查了Oxford、Cambridge和Collins的在线版,u都是/?/instrument /??nstr?m?nt/ Macmillan在线版给出的是/??nstr?m?nt/wiktionary 上给的 /??nst??m?nt/ 但实际上读的是Schwa————————————不过之所以不念成/??nst?ju:m?nt/的原因是因为英语不允许有*/rj/这样的onset吧比如 rue、rule、striate这样的With vowels represented as /?/ and /?/, it may be hard to ascertain whether they represent a full vowel or a reduced vowel. An example of a word which may be considered to illustrate the contrast is chauvinism, where the first i may be regarded as an instance of the reduced vowel , and the second as unreduced /?/. 引用自Stress and vowel reduction in English所以我个人猜测,instrument中的u由于处于非重读元音的位置,再加上英语不允许有*/rj/这样的onset,所以就弱化成了/u/(有主张弱化的/u:/记作/u/)或/?/,但是Macmillan在线版貌似并不区分/?/和/u/,只区分/?/和/u:/。以上仅是个人推测。

instrument中的u是弱化音节,不是闭音节。闭音节只在重读的时候才有比较稳定的表现。如instruct-instruction音变也很正常,尤其字母相同时

du:/dju/----/d?u/
want you ty:/tj/ /t?/
另外开闭音节只是对于重读音节来说,其他的都是非重读音节

谢邀,我记得加了后缀之后就要根据变形之后的新词语来看吧。(记不清了,有错勿喷)还有,词语发音不是完全按照开闭音节来的,老师告诉你的准则只是一个一般性的准则,有些时候不是完全一样的。打个比方,「做人要诚实」是一个准则,但是我们有时候也会讲一些「善意的谎言」。按你这种逻辑,banana以a结尾,为开音节,元音字母发本音,那么这个单词的发音就应该是/be?\u0026#39;ne?ne?/.
