大家都知道副词除了可以修饰动词，还可以修饰形容词。比如，非常好——very good，特别棒——pretty good，挺便宜——quite cheap，特别忙——especially busy…这些very, quite, pretty, especially都是副词来修饰形容词，更进一步地描述形容的程度。

但这些副词太常见了，大家在日常口语中也经常使用。那么，在写作中，如果也用这些词，就会让文章看起来平平。今天，我就给大家介绍5个副词，可以直接放在形容词前面，马上让你的句子看起来高大上。

01. extremely
extremely adv. 极其、非常to a very high degree通常程度比very要高一些。在写作中，当表示“十分、非常”的手可以用extremely来代替very 。
比如，前几天我们学过的一篇关于人脸和情绪的文章中就写道Based on this alone, most participants said the man was extremely angry. 仅仅根据这一点，大多数参与者都说那个人非常生气。

02. incredibly
incredibly adv. 很、极其、难以置信地extremely good or large 。
比如，我们在刚刚学习过的关于在疫情期间学习一门语言的文章中，对于古老的外语学习方法是It was slow, not much fun—and incredibly effective. 它很慢，没什么意思，但却极其有效。
现在除了中国，各国控制病毒都不到位，那飞往中国的机票真是相当的贵，这个时候我们就可以说The COVID-19 have made flights to China incredibly expensive.
我们还可以说The medicine that Chinese doctor used to treat against this disease is incredibly effective中国医生用来治疗这种病的药非常有效.

03. slightly
slightly adv.稍微、略微slightly means to some degree but not to avery large degree 。这个词也是表示程度的副词，可以放在形容词前面做一个程度的修饰，使得描述更加准确。
比如，a slightly different version略有不同的版本，slightly expensive稍微贵一些。
副词修饰形容词的时候，除了可以从程度上(比如，extremely, especially等)做修饰，还可以从感受上做修饰，比如surprisingly，unexpectedly等等

04. suprisingly
surprisingly adv. 令人惊讶地，出乎意料地somethingthat is surprising is unexpected or unusual and makes you feel surprised.
比如，在《经济学人》的一篇文章中这样写道：Italki is a platform that links teachers and students for surprisingly low hourly rates; casual conversation practice is especially cheap, formal instruction slightly pricier. Italki是一个连接老师和学生的平台，每小时收费出奇的低；非正式的谈话练习很便宜，正式的教学稍微贵一点。

05. unexpectedly
unexpectedly adv.未料到的、意外地in a way that was not expected.
比如，我们可以说My flight was cancelled by an unexpected heavy rain. 我的航班因为一场意外的大雨取消了；
再比如一个人平时考试分数一般，但是在一次考试中意外得了高分，我们就可以说He got an unexpectedly high score in that exam.

好啦，记住这个5个词extremely, incredibly, slightly, surprisingly和unexpectedly 。下次遇到想写“非常、十分”的时候别用very啦，换成extremely或者incredibly；想表示“稍微”的时候可以用slightly代替a little；还可以加上情绪上的感受suprisingly和unexpectedly等等。比如，大家自从春节放寒假，没想到在家会呆这么久吧?这就是unexpectedly long time 。
