The emperor"s horse was nailed with gold and one of the two hoofs.
Why did it get the golden horseshoe?
It was the most beautiful animal, with beautiful legs, with a very witty look in the eyes, and a horsehair hanging round the neck like a silk yarn.
It had carried its master in a hail of bullets, and heard the bullets whistling.
As the enemy approaches, it bites and kicks the enemy around with its legs and takes part in the battle.
It carries its own emperor with a step over the fallen enemy"s horse, saves the emperor"s golden crown, saves his own emperor"s more important life than the golden crown.
So the emperor"s horse was golden and he had two hoofs.
The dung beetle crept forward.
"Give the big nails first, then the small nails," it said. "but it"s not the size of the problem."
So it stretched out its thin, thin legs.
"What are you doing?
"Asked the blacksmith.
"Golden palm!"
"Replied the dung beetle.
"You must have lost your mind!"
"Said the blacksmith." and you want gold?"
"Golden palm!"
"said the dung beetle." am I not as real as the beast?
Someone will take care of it, wash it, serve it, feed it and feed it.
Am I not also in the emperor"s stables?
"But how did the horse get the gold?"
"Asked the blacksmith." aren"t you clear?"
"Clear?
"I know, it"s contempt for me," said the dung beetle. "it"s an insult -- now, so I"m going out into the big world."
"Screw you!
Said the blacksmith.
"Rough fellow!
"Said the dung beetle.
Then he went out.
After a short flight, it came to a lovely garden, with the smell of roses and lavender.
"Isn"t it beautiful here?
"Said a ladybug.
The little ladybug flew about with its dark red wings, which were as hard as a shield.
"The smell is sweet here, how beautiful it is!"
"I live in a better place," said the dung beetle.
There"s not even a pile of dung here."
So he went on and climbed into the shadow of a great bush.
A caterpillar crawled on the violet.
"What a beautiful world it is!
"said the caterpillar." the sun is warm!
Everything is so beautiful!
One day I fall asleep and die like people say, and then I wake up and become a butterfly."
"You can"t think of it!
The dung beetle said, "now we are flying like a butterfly!
I came in the emperor"s stable.
But there was no such thing as this, even the precious pet horse that had nailed my golden hoofs to the emperor"s hoof.
Grow wings!
Fly!
Yeah, now we"re flying!"
Then the dung beetle flew.
"I won"t be angry, but I"m still angry."
Then it landed on a large piece of turf.
It lay here for a little while and then fell asleep.
My goodness!
What a shower!
The sound of rain woke the dung beetle, and it immediately tried to drill into the ground, but it did not.
It rolled over, and soon it was going down, and then it swam back to the air.
Flying is something that you can"t even think about. It seems like it"s not going to get out of the grass alive.
He lay down on his back, lying down.
Later, the rain was a little smaller.
The dung beetle blinked and shed the rain that was on his eyes.
It vaguely saw something white, a sheet that the family was preparing to bleach.
He climbed up there and climbed to a crevice in the wet sheet.
It"s not like lying in a warm dunghill in a stable.
But now there"s nothing more comfortable here than here.
So he stayed here one day, and another night, and the rain continued to fall.
Early in the morning, the dung beetle climbed out. It was very angry with the weather.
There were two frogs on the sheets, and their bright eyes were shining brightly.
"What a nice day!
"Said a frog.
"How fresh!
There"s so much water in the bedspread!
My back foot itches, like I"m going to swim."
"I don"t know," said the other, "that swallows flying around have found a better place in foreign travel than in our country.
Drizzle, damp air!
It"s like you"re lying in a wet ditch!
If anyone doesn"t like this, he"s unpatriotic."
"You have never been to the emperor"s stables, then, are you?"
"Asked the dung beetle.
"The humidity there is warm and tasty!
I"m used to that kind of climate, it"s my weather, but it can"t be carried out.
Is there not a decent man like me in this garden to climb into a comfortable place?"
But the frog did not understand what it was saying, and probably did not want to understand.
"I never ask the second time," the dung beetle said as he said the third time without receiving an answer.
So he climbed a little further and went to the spot where the pot was broken.
It was not supposed to be in this place, but since it was here, it became a place to be covered.
Several earwigs live here.
They require little room to live in, only to be crowded together.
Females are particularly maternal, so each of their children is the most beautiful and the brightest.
"Our son is engaged," said one mother. "my lovely, innocent baby!
His highest wish was to climb into a clergyman"s ear one day.
他非常可爱,非常天真,订了婚会对他有所约束;
He was very lovely, very naive, and he was bound by his engagement;
When mom is very happy."
"Our son," said another mother, "just come out of the shell and play.
He was so full of energy that he lost all the things he had on his head.
What a pleasure to be a mother!
Isn"t it?
The dung beetle?
They recognized it from its appearance.
"Both of you are right," said the dung beetle.
Then it was invited into the house, deep into the bottom of the basin.
"Now you should look at my little earwig," said the third, and the fourth. "they are the cutest children.
They are never mischievous unless they have a stomachache.
But, these children, the stomachache is a common occurrence."
Then, all of them who were mothers talked about their children.
The children also took part in the conversation, and they used their tailings to get the dung beetle"s mouth.
"They always have to touch everything, these little mixers!"
Several mothers said, showing deep maternal love.
But the dung beetle was bored, and he asked if it was far from the manure pile.
"That"s far away, over the ditch," said earwig. "so far, I really hope my children don"t run over there, so I can"t live."
"So far, I"ll try to climb that far," said the dung beetle, without saying goodbye, and walked away.
It"s decent enough to treat women like this.
Beside the ditch, it met several of its own, the dung beetle.
"We live here," they said.
"We had a comfortable life!
Welcome to our very rich place!
The journey must have worn you out.
"Yes," said the dung beetle.
"I have slept in the sheets on rainy days, and the clean environment has greatly consumed my strength.
In a broken pot, I was in the wind, and my wings were cold.
It was so soothing to be able to touch my own kind.
"You"re probably from a dunghill," said the oldest one.
"Even better," said the dung beetle.
"I came from the emperor"s stable, where I was born with golden palms.
I have a secret mission to come out this time. You don"t have to ask me about it. I won"t say it."
So the dung beetle crept up to the compost.
There were three young dung beetles who were laughing secretly because they didn"t know what to say.
"They are not engaged yet," said the mother.
They laughed again, but this time it was a shame.
"I have never seen a more beautiful lady in the king"s stable," said the dung beetle guest.
"Don"t spoil my girl!
请别和她们讲话,若是您的打算不真诚的话;
Do not speak to them, if your intentions are not sincere;
-- of course your intention is sincere, and I wish them well.
"Wonderful!
The other dung beetle cried, and the dung beetle got engaged.
First the engagement, then the marriage.
You know, there"s nothing to wait for.
The first day after marriage, the day passed very well.
The next day was full of ease.
But on the third day it will have to think about his wife and even the children"s dinner.
"I got caught up in the accident," he said, "so I"m going to surprise them."
It did.
它不见了;
It"s gone;
The whole day was gone, and it was gone all night.
The wife has become a living widow.
The other dung beetles said that they had come to their home to be a true prodigal son, and that his wife had become a burden to them.
"Then she can be her girl," said the mother, "and be my daughter.
The one who killed her, the one who abandoned her."
And it continues its journey, crossing the ditch in a leaf of cabbage leaves.
At dawn, two men came.
They saw the dung beetle and seized it and turned it over and over again.
Both of them are knowledgeable, especially the boy.
"God saw the black dung beetle on the black rock of mount heishi!
Isn"t that what the Koran says?"
He asked, translated the dung beetle"s name into Latin, and spoke of its genus and properties.
The older man, who was so educated and rich, had taken it home, and had the same good specimens in his house, he said.
That"s not polite, said the dung beetle.
Then it flew away from his hands and flew for a long time.
Its wings were dry, and it flew to the greenhouse.
Because one of the Windows was open, it slipped in easily and got into the fresh manure.
"It"s very comfortable here," he said.
Soon he fell asleep, dreaming that the emperor"s horse"s hoofs were broken, and that the dung beetle got his golden PAWS and promised to get two more.
What a pleasure!
When the dung beetle woke up, it climbed out and looked up.
How beautiful the greenhouse is!
Huge palm leaves are on high, and sunlight makes them transparent.
Under the palm trees were green and green, with flowers in the green, red with red, amber with yellow, and white as snow.
"It is a beautiful and beautiful plant.
When they are rotten, the taste must be wonderful!"
"Said the dung beetle.
"This is a wonderful dining room.
There must be a family here, and I"m going to look for it and see if I can find a few of those I can relate to.
I am proud, and that is my pride!
Then he walked up, thinking of the dead horse, and thinking of the gold he had received
At this moment, a hand seized the dung beetle, it was pinched, hands turned over, and a few turns.
The gardener"s little son and a companion were in the conservatory, and he saw the dung beetle, and was very interested in it.
It was placed in a leaf of grapes, in a warm trouser pocket.
It floundered in its pockets, scrabbling.
So the child pressed it with one hand, and the child ran quickly towards a small lake on the head of the garden.
The dung beetle was put into a broken old wooden shoe.
A wooden sprig was firmly planted on the shoe, and the dung beetle was tied to a sign with a wool thread.
Then it became captain, sailing.
It was a large lake, and the dung beetle thought it was the ocean of the world.
It was so scared that it burst into the air, its feet kicking in the air.
The wooden shoes floated away, and the water in the lake was flowing, so the boat drifted a little farther.
A little boy immediately pulled up his trousers and came down to catch the boat.
But just as it was drifting away, someone was calling out for the child, and the child hurried away, leaving the wooden shoes behind him.
The wooden shoes drifted away from the land.
This is terrible for the dung beetle.
Fly, it doesn"t work, it"s tied to the mast.
There is a fly to see it.
"We have a nice day," said the fly.
"I can take a breath here!
I can bake the sun here.
Comfortable!"
"How to say something without brains!
Did you not see that I was tied up?"
"I haven"t been tied."
"Said the fly, and flew away.
"Now I have seen the world," said the dung beetle. "it is a despicable world, and I am the only one in it.
先是不给我金掌,接着我又得卧在湿床单里,站在对流风中;
First not to give me gold, then I have to lie in the wet sheets, standing in the wind;
Finally, he gave me a wife.
As soon as I strode into the world to see what was going on in the world, and how I was going to be, I came to a little boy and tied me up to the ocean.
But the emperor"s horse was walking up and down his feet!
This is what makes me so sad.
But there is no sympathy for you in this world!
My career is very interesting, but no one is appreciated and has what use.
The world would not be worthy to enjoy it, or the world would be in the king"s stables, where the emperor"s pet could be stretched out and ready to be nailed.
I have the gold, and I am the glory of the stable.
Now the stable has lost me, the world will lose me, everything is gone!
But not everything is over.
There came a boat with a few young girls on it.
"There"s a wooden shoe floating over there," said a girl.
"It"s tied up with a bug," said another.
When they got to the wooden shoes, they picked up the wooden shoes, and a girl took out a pair of scissors and carefully cut off the wool from the dung beetle.
When they got back to shore, they put it on the grass.
"Crawl, fly, and fly, if you can!
She said.
"Freedom is a good thing!
The dung beetle flew from an open window into a tall building.
Inside, it was exhausted, and fell to the soft long mane of the emperor, who stood in the stable, where the horse and the dung beetle"s home was.
He grabbed his mane and sat for a while, gasping for breath.
"Look at my horse riding in the emperor"s favor!
Like a knight!
What do I say!
Yes, now I understand!
That"s a good idea. That"s right.
Why did the horse have gold?
He, the blacksmith, asked me this question.
Now I see!
It was because of me that the horse got the gold.
The dung beetle was happy.
"Travel is a sobering thought."
It said.
The sun shone in and shone beautifully.
"The world is not so bad," said the dung beetle, "but you must know how to treat it!"
The world is beautiful, for the emperor"s pet horse has golden hands, because the dung beetle will become its knight.
"Now I"m going down to find other dung beetles, and tell them how much people have done for me.
I"m going to tell them the many things I get when I travel abroad.
I say, now I will stay at home until the horse grinds its gold."
