走进上海近代历史，体味城市文化变迁——MYP八年级跨学科活动周八年级跨学科活动"

本次八年级跨学科活动，全体师生来到繁华的大上海。上海是最能体现中国近代变化的地方之一，众多近代重大事件发生在这个地方，众多近代文化名人汇聚在这个地方。

9月27日早晨，同学们吃过早点后集合，乘车赴上海，到上海午餐后开始游览【上海影视乐园】。上海影视乐园有旧上海的市井风味，有民国风格的建筑，有欧式的标准庭院，有“宋子文旧居”，有汾阳路上的“工艺美术学院”……总之老上海特有的风貌是其最大特色。在此同学们换上事前准备的民国服装，根据编排好的剧本构思，拍摄具有近代风味的视频照片，感受近代历史和名人文学作品的魅力。

This semester’s interdisciplinary field trip saw our grade 8 students make a trip to the metropolis of Shanghai. Shanghai is the embodiment of the all the tremendous changes that have taken place in China’s recent history. A large number of the big events of China’s recent history took place here, and many of the most important people gathered here.

On the morning of the 27th of September, our students met early in the morning and made their way to Shanghai. After having lunch, our students left for the Shanghai Film Park. The Shanghai film Park is in the style of old Shanghai, with Chinese Republic era architecture, a European style court and the former the residence of Ziwen Song. Students then tried on clothes from the era as they posed for photos in the contemporary style, getting a taste for the famous aesthetics of the era.

9月28日早餐后，同学们前往原租界区徒步游览，了解上海近代史的变迁。即使当天下着小雨，同学们依然热情十分地跟着导游，聆听导游讲解那段既遥远又切近的历史故事。On the morning of the 28th, after a hearty breakfast, the students made their way to the ‘concessions’ where they got a further taste of the large historical changes that have taken place in Shanghai. Despite the rain, our students still gave their all to take in what our guide had to say about the area.

午餐后，同学们前往【鲁迅纪念馆】和【宋庆龄故居】参观，饶有兴致地倾听讲解，并且根据事前准备，采访相关人员，做好跨学科探究任务。

After lunch, the students went to visit the “Lu Xun Memorial Museum” and “Song Qingling’s Former Residence.” Students conducted interviews and started to make preparations for their interdisciplinary reports.

之后我们来到了上海东方明珠塔，参观【上海历史博物馆】，上海市历史博物馆是综合反映上海地方历史的地志性博物馆，其中“近代上海城市发展历史陈列”全面地展示了自1843年开埠到1949年解放的百年上海风貌。

Next up, we arrived at the “Pearl of the Orient” to visit the “Shanghai Natural History Museum.” The museum centres on the geographical and topological features of the land around Shanghai. The museum also has a chronological display showcasing the city’s development from 1843 to 1949, culminating with the liberation of Shanghai.

9月29日早餐后我们乘车来到了【上海科技馆】，【上海科技馆】是一座具有时代特征、上海特点的综合性的自然科学技术博物馆，内有多个展厅，同学们在这里观看、动手操作、亲身体验……大家乐在其中，意犹未尽。

On the 29th of September, we set out for the “Shanghai Technology Museum,” a museum characteristic of Modern Shanghai. The museum contains exhibits on many of the specialties of modern Shanghai and also about Shanghai’s natural technology. The students took a long walk around and had the chance to enjoy many of the hands on exhibits on show.
