【嘉德香港秋拍無底價拍賣】莫偉龍藏中國古代藝術珍品莫偉龍先生為香港東方陶瓷協會的終身會

莫偉龍先生為香港東方陶瓷協會的終身會員以及香港大學博物館的創始成員之一。已有逾40年的收藏經歷，莫先生對於亞洲藝術品的熱愛源自其早期工作及遊歷經歷。他的藏品亦包含各國藝術，如韓國、印度及菲律賓，但中國藝術品仍然在其藏品中佔有最大之比例，這既是因為先生對中國藝術品的情有獨鍾，亦得利於香港完善的藝術品交易市場。莫偉龍先生首先開始收藏中國當代繪畫，後來逐漸涉足其他領域如陶器、三彩、宋瓷、青銅以及石雕造像。本次拍賣，我們將重點推出其多年來所珍藏的青銅器、宋瓷和石雕，全部均會以無底價的方式上拍。

The Moore collection began almost 40 years ago through travel throughout Asia stimulating an interest in Asian art both by observation and meeting colleagues who had built up world class collections of antiques from places such as Indonesia and Korea through the 1970s. This collection includes items from Korea, India and the Philippines, but the majority are connected with China: because both of a keen interest in the history and development of China, but also convenience being located in Hong Kong. The starting point of the collection was modern Chinese paintings, it developed into other areas including earthenware, sancai figures, Song ceramics, bronzes and stone sculpture. This sale concentrates on bronze, sancai and stone sculpture. The collector is a life-time member of the Hong Kong Oriental Ceramic Society and a founding member of the University of Hong Kong Museum Society.
