We have three important parts of education reading, writing and Math. Some people think every child will benefit from a fourth skill added to the list: computer skills.
To what extent do you agree or disagree?
If one lived just several decades ago when no apps or websites could do us a favour in any aspect of our lives, he could hardly imagine how convenient the life can be. Unlike our grandfathers, people living in this fast-changing era rely heavily on electronic devices. Some of them even therefore claim that computer skills should be integrated into the normal curriculum of primary or high schools, which gives rise to a heated debate on this issue.
On the one hand, the conservative views upon the introduction of computer courses in an early school age are quite clear: exposing children to computers too early may bring various negative effects on children’s growth. Most obviously, children will become too occupied to enjoy the leisure time they deserve. After all, primary school students are already busy learning and practising their mother language and maths, both of which are not easy tasks. Another drawback is about their physical growth, which may be seriously affected if they are required to sit in front of computers for hours every day.
However, these problems can be easily avoided if measures are strategically adopted. First of all, if education authorities decide to initiate computer courses in elementary education, schools can actually made a more balanced schedule by reducing the time students used to spend on learning some already obsolete skills like calligraphy. In this case, students also do not have to sit for too long.
Furthermore, the price at which students do not start learning computer skills at an early age cannot be neglected. Since more and more knowledge is either itself concerned with the internet or better illustrated within computer programmes or cell phone applications, the relevant skills become increasingly important and indispensable for students who are willing to work and study more efficiently.
In conclusion, although cramming more tasks in primary school schedule seems not wise, it is still recommended that authorities support the integration of computer classes, due to its significance in future competition.

It has become easier and more affordable for people to visit other countries.
Is it a positive or negative development?
Otherwise law-abiding citizens confiscating keys of the drivers coming from abroad, local twenty-somethings unable to afford apartments; These are two phenomena that seem unconnected. Yet, locals see a common culprit - tourists. As it becomes increasingly obvious that tourism is booming worldwide thanks to the economic development, people nowadays begin to realise that unlimited tourism can also result in disastrous effects.
Admittedly, the optimism towards this flourishing industry is not entirely misguided, at least at the first glance. In the past, most people were often restricted in a small region and seldom went on trips either because of a limited budget or due to the poor transportation. Not anymore. Tours are now made both convenient and cost-effective so that people can enjoy the view of a remote place thousands of miles away without spending too much or suffering from the bumpy ride. Also, places with distinctive allure to travellers can benefit from the influx of visitors financially, not only through selling tickets but also by providing relevant services throughout the entire process. Such progress will thereby create hundreds or thousands of jobs, improving the livelihood of local inhabitants.
However, the picture looks less rosy when the volume of visitors goes far beyond the capacity. It is quite easy to understand this point. When everyone is able to become a holidaymaker who travels from one place to another, burden on transportation grid rises. Worse still, too many people may make the same choice of destination so that the only scenery they might enjoy would possibly be the countless heads of other travellers and tons of rubbish left behind.
Additionally, consequences of an excessive development of tourism can be also found in the local development of tourist attractions. Many of these places sacrificed the convenience of life and other development just to remain traditional and attractive.
In conclusion, the development of economy and tourism can be beneficial only when it is limited to a healthy level.
