来自陕西西安的初中老师Peggy已学习了14个月，每个月的学习认真总结心得体会。以下是她个人通过TC练习英语思维和写作的经验，一边听TC音频，一边阅读她的全英心得分享：

Hi there, I’m Peggy from Class 22.

It’s been 14 months since I joined WSE. From the second month, I tried my hardest to finish LC, IC, TC challenges every day, no exception. And I’ve made a little bit progress that makes me feel much more confident.

Today I want to share what I’ve learned from doing TC.

At the very beginning, it was difficult for me to express myself in English. Basically, I got used to translating what I wanted to say from Chinese into English. It was impossible for me to think in English naturally. On the other hand, my vocabulary shrank in a high speed. After all, I’ve been away from college for over 22 years. What I really want to improve here is to enlarge my vocabulary. Although it’s a long way to go, I insist on learning English here.

Gradually, I started to be familiar with those words I had learned before. And it was a lot easier for me to write down what I want to say. And most of the time, I wrote journals in English directly instead of translating Chinese into English. In that way, it channeled my energy into my growth mindset. I mean I began thinking in English. At the same time, I looked up in the dictionary at once each time I met something unsure about. Now I can make good use of my time to write about each topic smoothly and fluently on a daily basis.

It’s a pity that I’ve no chance to improve my English in an English-speaking country. However, I came across WSE in 2016 and I fell in love it at first sight. And I kept putting in more effort to learn English from then on. I figure out progress is always on its way towards me if I start with small things perfectly day by day. Without doubt, I’ll become a better self one day if I hold on to my strict daily English learning routine.

Here’s one of my TC writings I’d like to share with you.

Option B Day 14 TC: What do you think about Sheng nv, or “leftover women”?

To me, “leftover women” is only a so-called name. In my opinion, every woman has the right to get married or keep single. Maybe those young girls eagerly want to meet their Mr. Right, but it’s just the matter of time. I believe love at first sight, but not all women can get it at the right time.

As outsiders, we care about Sheng nv, but we shouldn’t reduce them to a negative stereotype – Sheng nv are those whom nobody wants. In fact, many of them have got quite good education and had great achievements in their career.

If I were a single girl over 27 years old, I wouldn’t feel worried or upset. I believe there’s true love in the world, so I’ll be patient enough to wait for my Mr. Right. If I’m excellent, I’ll deserve the best marriage. So I’ll become brave enough to be myself and I’ll ignore the gossip. To me, happiness is my own feeling. It only depends on my attitude towards life. It’s none of others’ business. No matter what happens, I trust my ability and I’ll build up my confidence by learning from my mistakes. Anyway, I’ll always try my best to be an independent woman. I’ll become a happy person no matter whether I marry or not. Honestly, marriage won’t bring you much more happiness if you’re not a happy person. Most importantly, as a woman, please yourself first.
