今天学习的是上下结构的字，在汉字的间架结构里，上下结构其实还可以细分为：上紧下松、下紧上松、上下均分。本文先学习上紧下松的字，在《灵飞经》里，宫、符、累、著、翼、罗、驾、昇、华都是上紧下松的写法。
上紧下松的字，一般是上部写头宫，下部写的下主宫内。如图所示;

宝盖头的字，大都是上紧下松的字法。宝盖头写在头宫，下面的部份写在下主宫。

“符”字竹字头写在头宫，付写在下主宫。

“累”的田字头忌写大，收缩在头宫内，字形显得紧凑。

“著"上小下大，用黄金格很好区分，同时在黄金格里，它其实也算是上中下结构的字。
