1、铝合金型材切割机用于制作裁料，可将铝合金型材按需要的尺寸和角度裁取，常用截取角度为45° ， 90° 。大型铝合金的生产所用的切割机为大型锯床，切割铝合金型材时，型材可以平稳地放在锯床的工作台上，截取长度，角度都比较精确，锯口整齐，切割速度快；而小型铝合金加工点所用的切割机为小型无齿锯，切割精度远不及大型锯床。
2、冲床用于在型材上冲孔，可以冲方形、长方形及圆形的孔。冲床是大型铝合金生产厂所使用的设备，而小型加工点是用其他设备代替，其精度和效率远不及冲床。
3、仿行铣床主要用于型材上铣锁眼，仿行铣床可以按模板的形状铣孔，模板的形状可以是方形、圆形、椭圆、八字形等。具有智能铣孔的特点精度高，速度快。仿行铣床设备造价比较高，小型加工点一般都不具备，一般用手摇开孔器代替。
4、组角机主要用于铝合金型材拼角，具有精度高，拼角美观的特点，一般是大型铝合金厂用，而小型加工点一般为手工组角。
