3 Based on your eight-year experience as a senior editor in the image department of a reputable print media agency in China, which quality do you think is the most important for a GOOD photographer?

Tian Zheng：As far as I’m concerned, photographers should equip themselves with essential knowledge of communication, mainly in selecting topics and means of representation. By doing so, they will survive and even find greater opportunities in this new era when there is a great reform in the media industry. That is also the reason why many excellent photojournalists make great achievements in the realm of commercial photography as well.
