由于是东道主，中国队有资格派出A、B两队同时出战。前天B队率先亮相并取得开门红，7-2轻取南非。

今天，由国家队两大王牌吴珈庆和刘海涛组成的A队也终于在首轮最后一场较量中登场亮相。他们十分希望在本土夺冠，以追平菲律宾的夺冠次数。
