Two Chinese nationals died in a fire that broke out at a tourist facility on Lake Baikal’s Olkhon Island, Russia, an official from the Chinese consulate of Irkutsk confirmed on Monday. Local media previously reported that two bodies were found but they couldn"t be identified due to the severity of the burns. According to the regional health authority, a total of five people were injured in the fire, including one local and four Koreans. The fire started early on Sunday morning. The cause of the incident is currently under investigation.
