上次由于情报有误，所以写的是huge impacts，但实际上12月16号那场考试的真题讲的是huge negative impacts，所以今天我把按照正确题目的范文写一篇给大家，作为2017年最后一更。

huge negative impacts 有哪些呢？

①首先，网络霸凌算一个吧：cyber bullying

霸凌者们的做法: repeateldly posting rumors, threats, sexual remarks, a victims" personal information, or pejorative labels（贬低标签）

网络霸凌的人一般都：repeatedly doing with an intent to harm.

受害者们（Victims）

may have lower self-esteem, increased suicidal ideation（越来越强的自杀意念）, and a variety of emotional responses, including being scared, frustrated, angry, and depressed.

Cyberbullying may be more harmful than traditional bullying.

"Clang, clang, clang" That is presumably a sound from our cellphone reminding us that an article about our status has got a "like" or that a contact person has sent a short message to us on a social networking websites or applications. Never in the history of our mankind have we enjoyed so much convenience of making contacts with each other and sharing what we do and what we know. I am, however, convinced that some significant problems have also come along with this change and they are nonnegligible.

First, cyber bullying is a perfect example of the negative effects brought by the widespread of cyber-based social networking. Many bullies - those intentionally using their power or strength to frighten or hurt others - are even more unscrupulous(是不是很熟?肆无忌惮的意思) when hiding themselves behind the screen. They post rumors, threats, sexual remarks, or a victims" personal information online not in order to strive for justice but to derive enjoyment from this process or win respects in the virtual place. Victims castigated(前几天学的词，现学现用哦, 苛责的意思) online are often not so guilty as they are criticised, but suffering a lot from these slanders.

Another equally serious drawback is that it is now far easier for people to sense peer pressure on the internet than in face to face communication with others in the past. With the help of the internet, people are ever more capable of making so called friends with someone they have never met. In this case, chances are high that people in different social levels are now in the social circle of a same person. The problem of the comparison between life standards is therefore much more serious as these comparisons, whether between the brands of cars or between the areas of the houses they live in, may affect many, compromising the correct values in the society.

另一个同样严重的缺点是，相较于过去与他人在现实中交流,现在人们更容易在互联网上感受到来自同龄人的压力。在互联网的帮助下，人们更有能力与从未谋面的人交朋友。在这种情况下，不同社会阶层的人现在处于同一个人的社会圈子里的可能性是很高的。因此，生活标准的攀比问题要严重得多，因为这些比较，无论是汽车品牌还是他们居住的房子面积之间的比较，可能会影响许多人，破坏社会中正确的价值观。

In conclusion, social networking websites are undoubtedly playing a significant role in today"s society. Left to its own devices, however, they may lead to various horrible results.
