根据美国太空发展局5月11日发布的征求建议书草案 ， 美国太空发展局希望在2022财年将首批能够追踪高超音速武器的卫星送入轨道 。
美国太空发展局（SDA）准备在FY22发射第一批约20颗卫星的草案之际 ， 这是朝着实现其在低地球轨道上运行的数百颗互连卫星的目标迈出的第一步 。 该机构正在采取螺旋式发展方式 ， 在两年的时间内发射更多具有先进能力的卫星 。
第二批卫星将于24财年发射 ， 将在轨道上总共部署150颗卫星 。

TheagencyreleasedanRFPonMay1forthefirst10satellitesthatwillmakeupthetransportlayer.ThosesatellitesarealsosettolaunchinFY22.
Inaddition,SDAwantstolaunchMediumFieldofViewsatellitesinmid-FY23focusedontechnologiesneededforadditionalperformance.
